and medium sized companies with services and tools to help them maintain healthy profits levels
and achieve long term objectives.
In the current western world we are faced with a tendancy where big conglomerates seem to
prevail and where more and more regulations are imposed. For smaller organizations it is becoming
increasingly hard to survive. On the other hand we see the developments in countries like China
where a different set of rules seems to apply and where the governments heavily subsidise their
industries and businesses.
Despite that it will not take longer than say 10 to 15 years until these countries will have
lost their competitive advantage. We believe that, for a healthy balance in the world, it is
important that, by that time, western organizations are still in business. Only then a normal
competition will be possible. Without that we will have just changed roles and the wealthy western
world will be poor and the developing countries will be rich. This however will only last for a
short while because their customers can no longer afford their products.
We see it as our mission to support organizations with expertise, experience and tools they
need but often cannot afford to offset this trend. To do this we provide our clients with
consultancy, coaching, change and turnaround interim management and software products to improve
business processes, company reporting and management information. If we don't have the solution
ourselves we assist in selecting the right tools. In some situations we even participate in
companies and are prepared to operate on a 'no cure no pay' basis.
We focus on small and medium sized companies and organizations because we have seen too often
that the result of mergers is disappointing. Either the company being acquired is immediately
being put out of business because the general perception in the purchasers organization is still
that 'it is the enemy', or the cultures of the two organizations are so different that proper
integration cannot be achieved. Another reason is that the smaller and medium sized companies and
organizations face the same challenges and problems as their larger counterparts but cannot afford
the same solutions.
We focus on larger organizations only when its management has a true long term objective.
